Jacksonville cycling Classic

Hello everyone. I just got back from Florida Sunday night. I raced in the crit on saturday and the road race sunday both were alot faster than what ive ever done in texas. The pros crit on saturday was just rediculously fast, unfortunatley it was raining so there were alot of wrecks.
This race was alot of good experience for me. There were alot of people watching and it was alos alot of fun. The Litespeed guys were really nice to let me use their rv to rest and get ready in. If you ever go to Jacksonville Florida make sure you go to the vitos italian cafe on the landing, its really good. This coming weekend everyone is going to jacksonville Mississippi to race.

Have a really good week and hopefully it stops raining sometime soon today...

Back from Fayetville

Hello
im back and still want to be racing

well fayetville was a good race
in stage one only on the first lap, there was a 3 person break and i was in it.
we pretty much rode the whole race on our own and put alot of time on the main group.
after lap one was over i attacked and made a gap... so i kept going. a little ways from the finish i i was positive i was going to have a win but then i had a mechanical problem... so that put me around 1 min and 27 seconds behind the two riders.I finished third.
The time trial was great. i won it and made up alot of time.
Sunday was a short race and i started attacking alot because i had to make up alot of time to win the overall. Just like saturday, it was just a three person break. I attacked and made a gap, but then the other two guys caught me. Then one attacked and ivan and i spent most of the race chasing the break. We eventually caught him with only a few miles to go. Then, i attacked and made a big gap I kept going and won the race
ill put some pictures of the race on here once i can find them

Here are some photos from the races i've done so far.

Hello everyone, hope everbodys having a good spring break and enjoying the weather.

I'm leaving for Fayetville tommorow to go race. I wish anyone who goes good luck and safety.

So far, for this season i've raced in Valley of the Sun , Pace Bend, and the salt creek and sand springs crits. Valley of the sun was my first real big race and i really enjoyed it. It was good experience i ended up 5th overall out of 15. Pace bend was a great course. The team took the Densmore's CHATTEAU whitch was pretty sweet. Shanes dad drove and cooked for us.

I raced in the junior open and took second behind Andrew Schalb. While the team raced Rouge Robaix, i went to Tulsa to race in the cat 4s and juniors to get some points. The race on saturday was an okay course, and on the second to last lap i made a break but, of course no one went with me and they just chased and eventually caught me.The race on sunday was pouring rain and i had a spot of trouble with my bike so i had to pull out of the cat 4s race. And now im ready to got to fayetville.

about me

I've been living in Texas since i was born. I used to live in Southlake but, then moved to Argyle in the 4th grade. In 7th grade i ran track and played football. During the summer after 7th grade i took a bit of a tumble down a mountain and shattered my femur. I had an external fixator on my left leg for 7 months. While in the hospital there wasnt anything on tv interesting to me except for the tour de france. I figured riding a road bike on a trainer would get me back in shape for track and football. But when i fell i got a bad concussion so my parents wouldnt let me play. I tried to run track a little to early in the eight grade. My quads were still uneven and my left leg was a bit shorter. It was uncomfortable and didnt feel right to run. So i got on my bike and started riding. I didn't really get into roadbiking all that much until i went back to colorado for the summer. I did the Durango to Silverton ride. After i finished the climbing and descending to Silverton, i was hooked. When i got back to Texas, my mom looked for a good club so i could get more experience. She found Nathans club and talked to him. after awhile, i started training with him. I am so grateful to be able to be trained by Nathan and to be around more expierienced riders and be a part of a really awesome team.
